How does RoadWhispr know when to play a story?+
RoadWhispr uses your device's GPS to monitor your location in real time. When you enter a geofenced zone associated with a story — usually within a few hundred feet of a point of interest — the App automatically begins playing. No button tapping, no searching. Just drive.
Does the App work without an internet connection?+
An internet connection is required to stream stories. We recommend starting your drive with a strong connection. If you lose signal mid-story, the audio may pause until connectivity is restored. We're exploring offline downloads for a future update.
Can I listen to stories I've already heard?+
Yes! All your previously played stories are saved in your History tab. You can replay any story at any time, even when you're not near that location. Premium subscribers also get access to our full story library to browse and preview.
Is RoadWhispr available on Android?+
RoadWhispr is currently available on iOS (iPhone and iPad). Android support is in active development. Sign up for the Android waitlist on our homepage and we'll notify you the moment it's available.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, find RoadWhispr, and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.
The app isn't triggering stories. What should I do?+
First, make sure Location Services are set to 'Always Allow' for RoadWhispr in your iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services. Also check that Background App Refresh is enabled. If stories still aren't triggering, try restarting the App or your device. You can also reach out to us using the form below.
